The iconic africaSTEMI Live! meeting has over the past decade brought together key players from the healthcare ecosystem to facilitate cutting-edge learning and networking experiences in global cardiovascular medicine. In addition to our acclaimed cohort of expert African-based faculty, this meeting attracts renowned faculty from across the world. The congress will commence with several workshops covering cardiac imaging, interventional cardiology and arrhythmology, vascular heart disease; this year we expect to run a cardiovascular research symposium as well as an acute cardiac care course. The Heart of Africa Meeting is a two-day summit that discusses novel approaches to cardiovascular medicine, with an emphasis on ischemic heart disease, heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest, and associated risk factors. The interventional village will speak to the growth of interventional cardiology within Africa. We will have several roundtable meetings set up to prepare advocacy initiatives and white papers.
