    I am an interdisciplinary public health scientist with over a decade of combined academic training and experience in health systems research, bioethics, community engagement and research capacity building in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. My research interests lie at the intersection of mixed-method health system research, empirical ethics and community engagement with special interest in capacity building for health system preparedness during humanitarian and protracted emergencies. I currently serve as a mid-level public health scientist at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) in Kenya,
