This 2 months skillset training for Obstetrics and Gynaecology Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training is designed and delivered by Dr. So Yamashita, Specialist Obstetrician. Nagano Children’s Hospital, Japan. Course Outline: Through live lectures, videos and hands-on sessions the course aims to offer Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with technical skills in application of Point of Care Ultrasound imaging in their line of practices and especially in acquiring bed-side imaging to make clear diagnosis and interventions. The training will be certified for certificate and CPD points will be awarded to KMPDC members. Lecture contents: -Early Pregnancy -Mid Pregnancy -Late Pregnancy -Number of GS -CRL -Miscarriage -Ectopic pregnancy -Hydatidiform mole -Uterine fibroids -Ovarian bleeding -Ovarian cyst stem torsion -Amniotic fluid volume (excess amniotic fluid, low amniotic fluid MVP) -Placental position (placenta previa, placenta previa, low placenta, early abruption of normal placenta) -Placental position (cephalic, pelvic, transverse) -Number of fetuses -Fetal heart rate -Fetal Biometrics (BPD, HC, AC, FL) -BPS (fetal tone, gross fetal movement, fetal breathing movement) BATCH 1 Registration deadline: 2nd September Starting date: 6th September Hands-on sessions: 2nd, 3rd and 4th October Image portfolio begins immediately after hands-on and can be acquired from your place of work
