Objectives
1)To recognize and acknowledge patients’ understanding on their illnesses, treatment and the care they receive.
2)To understand what professionalism is/ To see how our values and ethos affects how we behave professionally in practice.
3)To gain an understanding on the benefits and dangers of Evidence Based Medicine or Practice/ Why we use Evidence Based Medicine/Practice.
4) A reminder of the causes of stress in their lives/ An appreciation of the symptoms & signs of “burnout”/ Strategies to address some of these.
5) To be able to comprehend the depth of health inequalities in health in the world/ To be motivated to do what you can to address health inequalities.
