Description
Introduction A Preterm is defined as a baby born alive before 37 completed weeks of pregnancy. Classification of preterm birth, based on gestational age: Extremely preterm (<28 weeks) Very preterm (28 to <32 weeks) Moderate to late preterm (32 to <37 weeks). -Xanthines for apnoea-caffeine citrate

- Hypoxia; Effective resuscitation at birth
- Intracranial Bleeds; Transfusion, cardiovascular

Monitoring and appropriate replacement of relevant substrate
Cardiovascular,
- PDA; Fluid restriction, diuretics, indomethacin
- Bradycardia- inotropic support
