Designed to enhance understanding and management of acute pain in children, the Paediatric Acute Pain Workshop covers the physiology of paediatric pain, methods for accurate diagnosis and assessment, and principles of multidisciplinary pain management using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies. It also includes an overview of central regional blocks in children and commonly used ultrasound-guided techniques for paediatric regional analgesia, emphasizing their role in optimizing perioperative pain control and improving patient outcomes.
