• Understand HIV and AIDS epidemiology, transmission, progression, and clinical staging. • Apply NASCOP guidelines on HIV testing, prevention, treatment, and care. • Identify, diagnose, and manage common opportunistic infections (OIs). • Provide effective counseling on ART adherence, stigma reduction, and disclosure. • Accurately interpret and use laboratory results (e.g., CD4, viral load) for clinical decisions. • Document and report HIV program data according to NASCOP standards. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders for comprehensive care. • Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and ethical practices in HIV service delivery.
