Description

A Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on updates in managing Multi-Drug Resistant (MDR) and Rifampicin-Resistant (RR) Tuberculosis (TB) would provide healthcare providers with the latest advancements, guidelines, and strategies for diagnosing and treating these challenging forms of TB. Objectives

To understand the latest WHO guidelines , Kenya guidlinesand treatment protocols for managing MDR and RR TB, including new and repurposed drugs. To review advancements in diagnostic methods and monitoring for MDR/RR TB, focusing on rapid testing and patient follow-up. To explore strategies for addressing treatment adherence challenges and reducing transmission within communities, particularly in high-risk populations.
