Presenters

  1. Dr. SAMOEL KHAMADI
    Dr. Samoel Ashimosi Khamadi is a Senior Principal Research Scientist working at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and is currently the Director for the Centre for Virus Research (CVR) at KEMRI. He has over 20 years’ experience working in the field of Infectious Diseases Research with an output of over 85 Publications published in peer-reviewed journals. He has a PhD in Molecular Medicine, and Master’s degrees in Public Health, Business Administration and Immunology. He has worked with the Ministries of Health in Kenya and Tanzania and International Collaborating agencies in advancing research in infectious diseases and is actively engaged in the Design and implementation of public health interventions in diagnostics, disease outbreak and surveillance. He is also actively engaged in teaching and mentorship of Master’s and PhD students at various Universities in Kenya, Tanzania and DRC.
