It is intended to explore the theology of suffering, pain, death from the perspective of faith and the clinical context. It is also intended to equip health care workers with skills to better cope with elements of suffering, pain, difficult decision making in their day-to-day interactions. The didactic and reflective exercises built into the lecture series are intended to build a framework of spiritual care that the healthcare worker can utilise for themselves, their patients and caregivers.
