COLORECTAL MDT

Description

P.G.M 35 Year old male. C/C: Non healing ulcer. HPI: Referral from a peripheral facility for urologist review. Reports initially having following longstanding (6months) PR purulent discharge and pruritus. Was diagnosed with fistula in ano confirmed by MRI fistulogram. Followed by history of 2 fistulectomies (2021, 2023). Post OP noticed chronic non healing perineal/perianal wound with urine draining from the site. Post op noted to have a non healing PR wound. Managed empirically for TB but medication stopped after negative tests. Diverting Stoma and SPC Prior to onset of symptoms, no associated repeat episodes of diarrhea, abdominal pain, change of bowel habits or blood in stool. Medical/Surgical history: No known food/drug allergies No known chronic illnesses Surgical history as above. Family social history History of alcohol use and cigarette smoking- stopped in 2022 2 pack years
