The KMA SACCO Members’ Education Day and SGM was a member-focused engagement forum aimed at strengthening financial literacy, member participation, ownership and understanding of the SACCO’s role in members’ financial journeys. The session explored the evolving needs of healthcare professionals, the changing SACCO environment, member responsibilities, governance, savings, borrowing, investment and long-term wealth creation.

Enhance member financial knowledge on savings, borrowing, investments and wealth creation.
Promote active member ownership by highlighting members’ roles as owners, investors, customers and ambassadors.
Create awareness of KMA SACCO products and services and how they can support members at different stages of their professional and financial journeys.
Strengthen member engagement and participation in SACCO governance, including understanding the roles of members, Board and Management.
Encourage increased use of the SACCO as members’ primary financial partner through savings, borrowing and investment.
Share lessons and experiences from established SACCOs to stimulate reflection on sustainable, member-centred growth.
Promote a stronger member–SACCO partnership towards sustainable growth and long-term financial prosperity.
